SEW_06 | Speed control using foot pedal
Sewing | Speed control using foot pedal
Hi Everyone, this is a response video to Frank’s request on how to use the pedal.
So I’ve got my IPad on the floor and my camera showing me sewing on the machine.
So let me move the camera to point at the sewing machine. So now I am going to stitch something. Stitch a very simple straight line.
While doing that, I’m going to record how I use the pedal.
So right now I have my setting on the lowest.
Lowest speed which is only a one play.. one play symbol here and
How does the speed feels like?
The speed is one press of the pedal is one stitch. (Full step all the way down)
So, no matter how hard you press on the …
No matter how hard you press on the pedal.
Put your whole… whole weight of your foot on it.
You will still make one stitch for one …one second
but let’s say if you rest your heel on the floor
and you change your speed setting to the middle…. middle point (medium speed) and
and then you (Resting)
press all the way down one time, the pedal all the way down.
(Full step all the way down)
down and up. It will give you two stitches for one second.
I would think one second.
Instant replay in slow motion
and then if you crank up your speed to the highest setting (fast speed)
I think I need to change my direction enough space to stitch.
Crank up your speed.
It will give you three stitches for one second.
One, one, one, one. Keep pressing to maintain the speed. This is just a demo.
Instant replay in slow motion
The needle goes up and down three rounds.
I hope that answers your question frank !
I’ll see you in the next video!
Bye and please subscribe or like my videos!
